Winner of the 2003 Gold Key Award for Senior Living Facilities, Sun City Kashiwa looks more like a luxury hotel than an independent living community. The building is warm and inviting with a residential feel, and while the furniture is aesthetically pleasing, it was also chosen for comfort and safety; the lighting is also taken into consideration, and while it’s decorative, it takes into account the occupants’ special visual needs. The soaring lobby, Venetian chandeliers and cherry wood paneling with leather, teamed with the marble floors and columns create a rich, sumptuous environment for the residents to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds them.
